Citation Flow (Link Volume)

Citation Flow (Link Volume)
« Back to Glossary Index

The citation flow is a trademarked metric created by Majestic that refers to the popularity or influence of a link on a scale of 0 to 100. It does not refer to the quality of the links; for this, you would need to look at the Trust Flow.

To understand citation flow, a good example to consider would be porn and adult sites.

This is because websites in this adult niche may be very popular and/or high in number, but their quality or trust will be low.
