The Knowledge Graph is a database-based system created with a set of new rich features from Google, first announced in May 2012.

The Knowledge Graph results provide structured and detailed factual information about topics. It can be seen on SERPs with information gathered from various sources that are categorised into entities. The data is presented to users in an information box next to the search results.

It provides users with quick and precise answers to their questions and answers further queries without any further clicking around.
