Bespoke technical website audits

In depth, Actionable Technical Website Audits
Technical website audits are crucial for website owners, SEOs, and even website users (to a degree), in helping them identify issues. But an audit isn’t just about identifying issues.
By identifying what is working well, we can also find ways to maximise those opportunities. Combining this with any problem areas we find can produce a list of actions and required fixes that can genuinely make a difference.
We can use this audit to develop a roadmap and a strategy to help facilitate progress, accelerate traffic growth and help you achieve your marketing goals.
My audits will be meaningful and based on years of experience with the good, the bad, and the ugly of website audits. I won’t just produce a word document or a presentation that no one will (probably) read or understand.
You will receive an in-depth, actionable technical website audit that clarifies to everyone involved what is needed to fix the issues that I have found and make it clear who is accountable for them.

Extensive Audits that Everyone can Understand
I won’t just run a crawl of your website either and send you the results. I’ve seen this countless times. I will use various tools, including Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMRush, Sistrix, Sitebulb, GTMetrix, Page Speed Insights and more. I then use the context and other important information from your Google Analytics and Google Search Console profiles. I will use as many tools as needed to help you get to the bottom of any website health issues you may be experiencing.
They are written in plain English too. You don’t need to have any SEO experience or have an SEO dictionary in front of you. I will always recommend the most efficient solution and include as much or as little information as needed to help everyone understand the recommendations. I will listen to the needs of your business and your website and then deliver the results in a way that aligns with that.

Every technical website audit is different, but some of the areas I will be checking include (but are not limited to):

Indexability

Rendering

Redirects

Site speed and UX

Google Search Console and Google Analytics

URL structure and internal linking

Technical duplicate content

Headings and page architecture
All issues include recommended options and ranking using a RAG (Red, Amber, Green) system based on what is considered a priority and the difficulty to resolve.
What’s Next
To get started with your technical website audits, I will need access to your Google Analytics and Google Search Console profiles. It is possible to complete an audit without these, but through the insights that these tools provide, you will get much more meaningful information and actions off the back of the audit.
It is important to note that I will not fix the issues I identify on your website, nor will I provide further information or work with your development team to do so unless this has been agreed upon beforehand.
However, I will always be happy to jump on a call to discuss findings and the next steps following the completion of the technical SEO audit.

Each quote for a technical website audit is bespoke and depends on the number of pages your website has; the more pages a website has, the longer it takes to complete the audit.
If that sounds good, please do get in touch.
